NYC Workout Class Review

I love working out, but not being able to go to a workout class due to COVID-19 has really been a struggle for me! So instead I’ll do a review of all of my favorite places to get a sweat on in NYC that I cannot wait to go back to!

soul cycle

I absolutely am obsessed with Soul Cycle! I know some people may be apprehensive to start it because of the cult-esque culture they feel Soul has, but seriously the staff and the people I have met there are some of the nicest people ever. Each class is set to such motivating music that will get you pumped up and ready to ride! I think the 45 minutes goes by so quickly because it feels like I’m at a party!

rumble

If RBG can do it so can you!! Rumble is such a fun workout that actually makes me sweat so much! Half of the 45 minute class is spent boxing and doing boxing drills and during the other half you focus on resistance training! The Rumble culture is so uplifting and powerful it feels like you are fighting (boxing) the world together with everyone else in the room!

Created by Taryn Toomey, The Class is a workout for the body and the mind. Through repetitive calisthenics, guided instruction and music, The Class leaves you feeling so empowered and moved. This is a great class for people looking to get a workout in, but also relieve stress and step into a non-judgmental environment! Even Emma Stone is obsessed with it!

barry’s bootcamp

Barry’s offers HIIT workouts for various levels of fitness! Their most popular workout is 50% treadmill and 50% strength training on the floor! The lights are dimmed so no one is watching you which I love, and the music is blares which makes you get in the mode to work so hard! I love how you can preorder a smoothie or juice before class so that it is ready when you are done too!

corepower yoga

Corepower Yoga is the best because they have so many different kinds of yoga classes. Whether it’s their Yoga Sculpt class which is more cardio and weight sculpting, their Hot Power Fusion which is heated yoga or their C1 or C2 class which goes through the basics of yoga all are amazing to get your flow on!
